Okay, so I finally caved and got the meross Wi-Fi Smart Plug Mini after seeing it everywhere. And wow, it did NOT disappoint!

First off, setup was stupid easy. Like, 'open the app, tap a few buttons, and boom—connected' easy. No hub needed, which is a massive win for my already cluttered space.

Voice control? Flawless. 'Alexa, turn off the lamp' works every single time. Also love that it doesn’t hog the entire outlet—I can still plug in my charger next to it.

The scheduling feature is a game-changer. My plants now get their grow lights on a perfect timer, and I’m not paranoid about leaving the iron on anymore. Energy-saving queen!

Only gripe? The app could use a widget for quicker toggling. But for $30? Zero regrets. Already planning to buy more for holiday lights. 10/10 would recommend to anyone dipping their toes into smart home stuff.
