Okay, so I grabbed this 'Playful Patterns' book for my niece's 7th birthday, and wow – it's way cooler than I expected!

The patterns are just tricky enough to keep kids engaged without frustrating them. My niece went from scribbling to actually trying to stay inside the lines (mostly).

Big plus: The spiral binding is genius! Pages tear out cleanly for fridge art exhibitions. No more ripped corners from glued bindings.

Paper quality could be thicker though – some markers bleed through if you press too hard. But for colored pencils? Perfect.

PS: I may or may not have 'borrowed' it to de-stress after work. Those mandala patterns are weirdly addictive!
