Okay, so I finally gave in and bought this 'SPANISH in 10 minutes a day' set after seeing it everywhere. Spoiler: it’s actually pretty legit for beginners!
The CDs are my car buddies now – 10-minute chapters are perfect for my commute. Though sometimes the speaker goes full speedrun mode and I’m like ‘wait, what?’. Currently stuck on Chapter 9 because prepositions hate me.
What’s cool: The workbook + flashcards + object labels make it feel like kindergarten but in a good way? I stick Spanish words on my fridge and now my roommate thinks I’ve lost it. The multiple speaker accents are clutch – prepares you for real world Spanglish chaos.
Progress update: 9 chapters in 2 weeks while being a busy zombie. Not bad! Already using random phrases on my barista (who may or may not be humoring me). Would I become fluent? LOL no. But it’s that first push you need before diving deeper. Just ordered Spanish soap operas to complete my descent into language madness.
