First off, this remote does its basic job—it turns my LG AC on/off, adjusts modes, and changes fan speeds. For the price, that's decent. But let's be real, it's no OEM.

The screen? Awful. It's like squinting at a dying calculator display. I have to tilt it just right under bright light to see anything. Not ideal when you're across the room trying to check the temp.

Some buttons are duds—no swing, no temp display. My old LG remote spoiled me with those features. Also, the battery cover fits like a loose tooth. Jiggles like it's about to bail mid-use.

It's saved me during heatwaves when my original remote died, but I'll probably upgrade to an official LG remote soon. This one's strictly 'emergency use only' in my book.
