Let me start by saying this little gadget saved my cherry shrimp colony! The UNS Dual AIO Intake Guard does its main job perfectly - preventing tiny aquatic creatures from becoming filter food. I've watched baby shrimp casually graze near the intake without any suction incidents.

The installation was straightforward - it snaps right onto my UNS 30A tank's filter intake. The minimalist design blends well with the rimless aesthetic. No ugly plastic parts ruining my aquascape view!

However, I agree with other reviewers about the price being steep for what is essentially a small piece of plastic. Also experienced the same issue where it slightly interferes with fully closing the filter compartment lid. Not a dealbreaker, but annoying at this price point.

Despite these flaws, I'd still recommend it for shrimp or nano fish keepers. The peace of mind knowing your tiny aquatic friends won't get sucked in is worth the investment. Just wish UNS would address the lid fitment issue in future versions.
