Okay, so I got this Life Guardian Medical Alert system for my grandma after her scary fall incident. The NO MONTHLY FEE thing totally sold me - why pay subscriptions when you can get this one-time solution?
The wrist-worn panic button is genius - waterproof and always on her. She loves that she can shower with it (though I caught her trying to 'test' it by spraying directly with the showerhead... grandma!). Setup was... interesting. The manual might as well have been in ancient hieroglyphics at first glance.
PRO TIP: The 'social safety monitor' feature is lowkey amazing. We set it for her morning meds time and evening tea time. If she doesn't turn it off? Boom - it starts calling me, then my sister, then 911. Peace of mind = priceless.
But fair warning - programming this thing requires the patience of a saint. I may have accidentally called 911 three times during setup (sorry, emergency services!). Once it's working though? Total gamechanger. Just maybe practice with non-emergency numbers first!
