Okay, so I just finished 'See Me' and wow... Nicholas Sparks did it again! This book had me hooked from the first page. The chemistry between Colin and Maria? *chef's kiss*
What I loved most was how real their relationship felt. It wasn't just insta-love - we got to see them actually build something meaningful. And that suspense plot? Totally didn't see that twist coming!
Small complaint though - it did take a while to really get going. The first 100 pages were good but not 'can't put it down' good. Then BAM! Suddenly I'm reading until 3 AM because I NEEDED to know what happens next.
Also, can we talk about how perfect Evan and Lily were as side characters? I need a spin-off about them ASAP. And Maria's family? So much love for that representation.
If you're looking for a romance with actual depth and some legit suspense, this is your book. Just maybe don't start it on a work night... you've been warned!
