Okay, so I've been through like 5 cheap umbrellas this year that all turned inside out at the slightest breeze. This Repel one? GAME CHANGER.
First off - the auto open/close is SO satisfying. Just press the button and *whoosh* it springs open like magic. No more awkward fumbling when sudden rain hits!
The fiberglass frame is legit strong. We had crazy winds last week and my neighbors' umbrellas were flipping inside out while mine held up perfectly. Felt like a superhero walking through the storm!
It's surprisingly compact too - fits in my work bag no problem. The waterproof canopy actually works (unlike my last umbrella that might as well have been made of tissue paper).
Only downside? The handle could be a bit longer - my tall friend complained about it. But for $30? Worth every penny when it means not arriving at work looking like a drowned rat!
