Okay, so I finally caved and got this reading lamp after seeing it everywhere, and wow - it's actually worth the hype!
The no-drill installation was a game-changer for me as a renter. Just wedged it between my headboard and wall in like 2 seconds. Though fair warning - my friend tried it on her slanted headboard and it didn't work, so check your setup first.
What I'm obsessed with: that gooseneck is crazy flexible! I can bend it into ridiculous positions to get light exactly where I want - no more awkward book shadows. Plus the top ambient light gives my room such cozy vibes when I'm winding down.
The color/brightness options are insane (5 colors × 10 levels = 50 combos?!). My current fave is the warm orange at 30% for late-night reading - so easy on the eyes. And those satisfying CLICKY buttons? Chef's kiss. None of that frustrating touch-sensitive nonsense.
Only gripe: if you extend the neck too far horizontally, it can tip over. But just bend it into an S-shape and it's solid. For $30? Absolute steal. Already planning to get another for my desk!
