Let me start by saying the Lolhtvlol C24 Ultra looks like an absolute beast on paper. That Snapdragon 888 processor combined with 12GB RAM had me expecting buttery smooth performance - and in most cases, it delivered. I used this as my daily driver for about a week before running into its major limitation.
The hardware is seriously impressive. That 6.7" HD screen makes everything pop - I watched The Batman on it and the dark scenes were surprisingly clear. The 6800mAh battery lasted me nearly two full days of moderate use (social media, some gaming, YouTube). And that 108MP camera? Took some stunning daylight shots that rivaled my friend's iPhone 14 Pro.
But here's where things fell apart for me - just like the reviewer mentioned. Several of my essential apps (including banking apps and even some games) wouldn't run because the phone isn't Play Protect certified. This is a DEALBREAKER if you rely on any security-sensitive apps. I tried sideloading but ran into persistent warnings.
The dual SIM functionality worked great though - I tested with both T-Mobile and AT&T SIMs simultaneously with no issues. Call quality was crisp, and 5G speeds were blazing fast when I had coverage.
Ultimately, this phone has flagship-level specs at a mid-range price, but that lack of certification is a huge red flag for many users. If you only need basic apps and want killer hardware, it's worth considering. But if app compatibility is important to you (as it was for me), you might want to look elsewhere despite the tempting specs.
