Let me start by saying this HP laptop is a solid choice for everyday tasks. The lightweight design (just 3.24 lbs!) makes it perfect for students or commuters - I've been tossing it in my backpack daily without feeling the weight.
The bright 14" HD display genuinely surprised me. Watching Netflix during lunch breaks feels premium despite the budget price tag. The nearly bezel-less design gives it a modern look that punches above its weight class.
Performance-wise, the Intel Celeron N4120 handles basic work smoothly. I regularly have 10+ Chrome tabs open alongside Slack and Spotify without noticeable lag. However, hardcore multitaskers beware - this isn't meant for video editing or heavy software.
Now the elephant in the room: storage. The 64GB eMMC fills up FAST. After installing Windows updates and Office 365 (included free for a year - nice bonus!), I had to immediately buy external storage. It's fine for cloud-based work but disastrous if you need local file storage.
The battery life has been impressive - consistently getting 7+ hours of actual use between charges. The included USB-C port is future-proof, though I wish there were more ports overall.
Final verdict? At this price point, it's fantastic for web browsing, document work, and streaming. Just don't expect to store your photo library or run demanding software locally.
