Let me start by saying I've tried my fair share of screen protectors, and the JDHDL PET film for iPhone 16 Pro is a mixed bag with some standout features.
The installation was surprisingly smooth thanks to the alignment tray - no bubble nightmares here! The ultra-thin PET material feels like it's not even there, and touch sensitivity remains excellent for gaming. I particularly appreciate how it doesn't interfere with my case like some tempered glass protectors do.
The privacy feature works as advertised - at about 30 degrees to either side, my screen becomes completely unreadable to others. This has been great for commuting when I don't want seatmates peeking at my messages.
However, there are some issues. The blue light filtering does make extended viewing more comfortable, but the 'purple' tint is barely noticeable in real use. More concerning is that Face ID became slightly less reliable after installation - about 1 in 5 attempts fails where it was nearly perfect before.
Durability seems good after two weeks - no scratches yet despite being in a pocket with keys. The non-glass flexibility means it won't shatter, but time will tell how well it holds up to daily wear.
Customer service appears inconsistent based on reviews - while some report good experiences, others mention unfulfilled replacement promises. My advice? Buy through a platform with solid buyer protection.
For the price (especially getting two protectors), this is decent value if you prioritize privacy and thinness over absolute protection. Just don't expect miracles from the blue light filtering or customer support.
