Let me start by saying, this glow powder set is a visual treat when it comes to brightness. The luminosity is impressive - just a short charge under regular light or UV, and these pigments light up like tiny stars. I used them in resin coasters, and the glow lasted through an entire movie night!
The variety of 12 colors plus gold flakes initially got my creative juices flowing. The daylight colors are vibrant and true to their descriptions. However (and this is a big however), the actual glow colors don't always match what's advertised or shown in product photos.
Through my testing, I found that many colors emit similar greenish or orange glows regardless of their daylight appearance. That red pigment you thought would glow crimson? Surprise - it's orange! The pink? Also orange. This was particularly disappointing when trying to create specific color-themed projects.
The texture varies by color too. Some mix smoothly like dream, while others (especially blues) tend to clump like super-fine sand. I had to spend extra time breaking up lumps in my resin mixtures.
On the positive side, the glow duration is exceptional compared to other brands I've tried. A proper 30-minute charge keeps them visible for hours. They work beautifully in resin, acrylics, and nail art - just be prepared for some color surprises when the lights go out.
Would I recommend them? With caveats. If you need reliable glow regardless of color accuracy, they're fantastic. But if specific glow hues are crucial for your project, you might want to look elsewhere or stick to the blue/green/orange shades that perform as expected.
