Just got my hands on the meross Outdoor Smart Plug and wow, it's been a total game-changer for my patio setup! The IP44 waterproof rating gives me peace of mind during rainy seasons, and the two individually controllable outlets are perfect for my string lights and fountain.

The Alexa integration works like magic - nothing beats saying 'Alexa, turn on fairy lights' while chilling with friends. Though fair warning, you'll need a 2.4GHz WiFi network (had to dig out an old router for this).

Setup was surprisingly easy once I figured out I needed to connect to the plug's own WiFi during configuration (that part took me embarrassingly long). Now I've got schedules running perfectly - lights come on at sunset and turn off at midnight automatically.

The only downside? It's a bit bulky so heavy cords can pull it out of the socket. But considering how reliable it's been through summer storms, I'm definitely buying another one for Christmas decorations!
