I’ve been using the Wyze Smart Plug 4-pack for a few months now, and overall, it’s been a solid addition to my smart home setup. The plugs are compact and don’t block adjacent outlets, which is a huge plus. Setting them up was straightforward—just plug in, connect via the Wyze app, and you’re good to go. I love being able to control my lamps and small appliances with voice commands through Alexa or Google Assistant.
One of my favorite features is the scheduling option. I have my bedside lamp set to turn on gradually in the morning, which makes waking up a lot easier. The grouping feature is also handy; I can turn off all my living room devices with one command. That said, I’ve noticed occasional Wi-Fi dropouts, especially with one plug in my garage. A quick unplug-and-replug usually fixes it, but it’s annoying when it happens.
While these plugs aren’t perfect—I wish they were more reliable with firmware updates—they’re still a great value for the price. If you’re already in the Wyze ecosystem or just need basic smart plug functionality, they’re worth considering. Just don’t expect flawless performance 100% of the time.
