Let me start by saying these ROCKBROS sunglasses are a steal for the price. I've been using them for cycling, hiking, and even casual wear, and they've held up surprisingly well. The package comes with five interchangeable lenses – polarized grey for bright days, yellow for low light, and clear for rainy conditions. Swapping them is a breeze, and the included hard case keeps everything organized.
The lightweight design (only 29g!) is a game-changer. I've worn them on 4-hour bike rides without any discomfort. The adjustable nose bridge helps find the perfect fit, though it could be a tad softer. They stay put even during intense activities – no annoying slipping!
Where these really shine is UV protection. The 100% UV400 blocking gives me peace of mind when I'm out all day. The polarized lenses cut glare beautifully while cycling near water or on sunny roads.
Now for the downsides: The build quality feels plasticky compared to premium brands. After 6 months of regular use, mine show some wear around the nose piece. Also, the frame sits slightly forward, creating a small gap at the bottom where wind/dust can sneak in when looking down at bike handles.
The prescription lens insert is brilliant (I got mine fitted locally), but be gentle – the plastic frame can crack if you're rough with lens changes.
For under $30? Absolute no-brainer. They won't replace your Oakleys, but as backup glasses or for casual athletes, they deliver incredible value. Just bought a second pair in black!
