Okay, so I bought this Conkote medical tape hoping it would be a budget-friendly alternative to the 3M brand. Spoiler alert: it’s not.
First off, the adhesion is... questionable. I used it to secure a dressing on my leg, and within minutes, it was peeling off like a bad sunburn. Left a trail of tape behind me like some kind of sad medical breadcrumb situation.
I even gave it a second chance with another roll—same story. Doesn’t stick to skin for more than a few minutes, which is kind of the whole point of medical tape? If you’re using this for something important (like a dialysis port or Dexcom), just spend the extra $$ on 3M.
The only pro? It tears easily (yay) but good luck finding the end of the roll again if you don’t mark it. Also, no residue—small victories.
Final verdict: Save your money (and your sanity). This tape belongs in the trash, not your first-aid kit.
