Okay, so I've been using the Razer Kraken V4 Pro for about a month now, and here's the real tea ☕
First off - that OLED control hub? GENIUS. Being able to check my CPU temp while adjusting EQ settings feels like I'm piloting a spaceship. Though my coworkers think I look ridiculous twisting that dial during Zoom meetings.
The haptics? WILD. Playing Doom Eternal with these is like having mini earthquakes in your skull (in the best way possible). Though fair warning - first time I enabled them during a horror game, I nearly launched my controller across the room.
Battery life shocked me - lasted through an entire Lord of the Rings marathon (extended editions, duh) with juice to spare. Though turning off RGB definitely helps - sorry Razer, but disco headphone mode isn't worth hourly charging breaks.
Now the not-so-great: Synapse software is still buggy as hell. Had to manually adjust mic volume three times yesterday before my squad could hear me properly. And that THX spatial audio drama? Yeah, still salty about paying extra for what should've worked out of the box.
Final verdict? When these work (which is about 85% of the time), they're absolute magic. That other 15%? Well... let's just say I've developed some creative swear word combinations.
