I've been using these bunion socks for a few weeks now, and I have to say, they're a bit of a mixed bag. The fabric is incredibly soft and breathable, which makes them comfortable to wear for long periods. I especially appreciate that I can wear them all day, even at bedtime, without feeling restricted.
However, the gel pad designed to reposition the joint is where things get tricky. While it does provide some relief by reducing pressure on my bunion, it also puts too much pressure on the toe next to my big toe. This can be quite uncomfortable, especially if I'm walking around a lot.
Another downside is that these socks don't work well with shoes. I initially thought I could wear them discreetly under my regular footwear, but the bulkiness of the gel pad makes that impossible. They're really only practical for wearing around the house or at night.
On the plus side, the socks fit perfectly and stay in place thanks to the stretchy fabric and durable silicone. They're also easy to care for—just a quick wash with mild soap and water does the trick.
Overall, these bunion socks are a decent option if you're looking for non-surgical relief and don't mind wearing them without shoes. But if you need something more versatile or have sensitive toes, you might want to explore other options.
