I recently got my hands on the Lumiscope Professional Aneroid Sphygmomanometer, and while it's a well-built device, it's definitely not for everyone.
The nylon cuff is comfortable and stays in place well thanks to the touch-and-hold closure. The metal gauge feels durable and professional-grade - you can tell this isn't some cheap plastic gadget. The included zippered case is a nice touch for storage and portability.
However, there's one big caveat: you absolutely need a stethoscope and proper training to use this effectively. I tried using it on myself a few times, and even with medical training, it was incredibly awkward. Positioning the cuff correctly while trying to listen with a stethoscope is nearly impossible solo.
The build quality is excellent, but if you're looking for something to monitor your own blood pressure at home, I'd recommend spending a bit more on a digital wrist model instead. This one's really best suited for healthcare professionals who'll be using it on patients.
