I recently picked up these CGRRBW dress shoes, and I've got to say, they're a solid choice for the price. The wingtip brogue design adds a classy touch that works just as well with my office slacks as it does with weekend jeans.
The first thing I noticed was how comfortable they were right out of the box. The cushioned insole provides decent support - though fair warning, it is a bit firm at first. After a full day of wear during back-to-back meetings, my feet weren't screaming at me like they usually do with new dress shoes.
I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight they feel. The EVA outsole makes walking around the office or commuting much easier than my old bulky dress shoes. They've got good traction too - no embarrassing slips on polished floors!
The synthetic leather looks better than I expected for the price point. From a few feet away, you'd never guess these weren't genuine leather. That said, after about two months of 2-3 times weekly wear, I am noticing some slight creasing that might become more pronounced over time.
Sizing was tricky - I normally wear a 10 but had to go down to a 9.5 for the right fit. Once I got the size right though, they molded nicely to my feet. The removable insoles are a nice bonus for when I want to swap in my orthotics.
For $40, these have become my go-to shoes for business casual days, client meetings, and even dressed-up weekend outings. They won't replace high-end dress shoes for truly formal events, but for everyday professional wear? Absolutely worth it.
