As a parent of two toddlers with balance bikes cluttering our garage, I was excited to test the YehVeh 2-pack parking racks. The black plastic stands arrived exactly as described – lightweight, foldable, and surprisingly compact at just 8.5x6.5 inches.
The assembly is idiot-proof (a mom win!) – just interlock the pieces with a satisfying click. I appreciated how they don't require permanent installation, perfect for renters. The triangular base design does provide decent stability... when used correctly.
Here's the real talk: These work best with ONE rack per bike on the FRONT wheel (as instructions specify). When I tried doubling up or using the rear wheel, our 12" bike became a domino waiting to fall. The plastic does have some flex – not ideal for heavier scooters as some reviewers noted.
The chemical smell out of the package was concerning (aired out in 2 days), and I'm skeptical about long-term durability in extreme weather. However, for $15? They're fantastic for keeping bikes upright in our playroom between rides. Just don't expect industrial-strength performance.
PRO TIP: Place against a wall for extra stability, and these become game-changers for small spaces. For the price and convenience, they've earned a permanent spot in our bike storage routine – wobbly moments and all.
