Okay, so I just finished 'The Midnight Library' and wow... just WOW. This book hit me right in the feels. I stayed up until 3am reading because I literally couldn't put it down.
The concept is mind-blowing - a library where each book shows you a different version of your life based on choices you made (or didn't make). As someone who constantly wonders 'what if...', this was like having my brain scanned and turned into a novel.
What surprised me most was how emotional it got. One minute I'm laughing at Nora's awkward moments in alternate lives, next minute I'm ugly-crying into my pillow. That glaciologist chapter? Destroyed me.
The writing style is super accessible - not too heavy but still makes you think deeply. Some parts did feel a bit repetitive (we get it Nora, you regret stuff), but overall the pacing kept me hooked.
Would I recommend? 1000% yes! Especially if you're at a crossroads in life or feeling stuck. Just be warned - you'll probably want to immediately call your mom after reading this.
