Okay, so I grabbed these POWEROWL LR44 batteries because my kid’s toys and laser pointers keep eating them like candy. 40 for the price of like… two coffees? Yes please!

The good: They work! My cat’s laser pointer is back in business, and the packaging is neat—no loose batteries rolling around. Also, props to customer service (more on that later).

The meh: After a year in storage (cool/dark place!), some were basically duds. Like, my battery tester straight-up laughed at them. But weirdly, other POWEROWL stuff I own (AA/AAA) is solid??

Final verdict: For casual use (toys, calculators), they’re a steal. But if you need long-term reliability or heavy-drain devices… maybe stash a few extras.
