Okay, so I finally caved and got these Govee Smart Plugs after seeing them everywhere—and wow, they’re actually worth the hype!

First off, setup was stupid easy. Like, 'plug it in, open the app, and bam—connected' easy. No hub needed, which is a huge win for my already cluttered tech life.

The Alexa integration? Flawless. I’ve been yelling 'Alexa, turn off the Christmas lights' like a lazy wizard, and it just works. Also love that I can group plugs together—bye-bye, running around unplugging things.

Only gripe? The size. These guys hog the outlet space like they pay rent. But hey, at least they don’t disconnect like some other *cough* brands I’ve tried.

For the price? 10/10 would recommend to anyone dipping toes into smart home stuff (or just tired of getting up to turn off lamps).
