Okay, so I finally got around to installing this angle mount for my Ring doorbell, and here's the real talk.
First off, the adjustability is LEGIT. Being able to tilt it vertically and horizontally makes a huge difference in capturing those porch pirates. My old setup had blind spots, but this thing covers everything now.
Installation was surprisingly easy - like 'I-didn't-even-need-to-yell-at-the-instructions' easy. The included screwdriver worked fine, though I did add those foam pads (not mentioned in the manual) for extra snugness.
Now the not-so-great: The 'anti-theft' claim is kinda bogus. Any jerk with a screwdriver could take it off. And that outer case? Massive and ugly AF. I ended up ditching it and mounting directly to the bracket - way cleaner look.
Final verdict: Does it work? Absolutely. Is it perfect? Nah. But for the price, it solves my angle issues way better than Ring's overpriced official mounts.
